Contraception in Solihull

Looking for contraception advice or the contraceptive pill? Speak to our pharmacy team in confidence. We’ll listen, check what’s appropriate, and guide you to the right next step. This includes emergency contraception (the “morning after pill”) where suitable.

Confidential, non-judgemental support. Advice and treatment are subject to eligibility and clinical assessment.

Am I eligible for NHS contraception support?

Some contraception support may be available on the NHS if you meet the criteria. If you’re not sure, that’s okay. We’ll ask a few questions and explain your options. If we can’t help in pharmacy, we’ll signpost you to the right service.

What we can help with

We can talk you through contraception options and help with next steps in a calm, discreet way. This includes oral contraception (the contraceptive pill) and emergency contraception (the “morning after pill”) where appropriate. If you need a different option, we’ll help you understand what to do next.

When to get urgent help

If you feel very unwell, your symptoms are severe or rapidly worsening, or you’re worried something isn’t right, don’t wait. If it’s an emergency, call 999 or go to A&E. If it’s not an emergency, we may advise NHS 111, your GP, or the most appropriate local service.
